№ 3 ~the Dating Sim meme~

"I must return to my people with the spoils of war, lay my bloodied sword at the feet of my great king,
and celebrate my conquest of all the lands from here to distant Macedonia!"
Congratulations, you're stuck in a dating sim. Hilarious text options pop up out of thin air after every question
and trigger phrase, and you can't feel creeped out by it. You better choose the right answers or...well you know what will happen.
♥Your character is the protagonist of their thread.♥
♥Each responding character will supply a list of two to four options for them to choose from.♥
♥???♥
♥Jam it in? ...or not. It's entirely up to you.♥

Kariya Masaki | Inazuma Eleven Go
no subject
He's currently painting something with watercolors at a nearby table. It looks like he's really focused on it, too!
> Wait for him to notice you.
> "Figures you'd be the artistic type."
> "You paint?"
no subject
"With the hair and all, of course you paint as well."
no subject
Oh, Kariya... I didn't hear you come in. He looks a little embarrassed.
> "What's that even supposed to be, anyway?"
> "Stop looking so embarrassed, it's not like the picture looks bad or anything."
> "... Also figures you'd be good at it."
no subject
>>"Stop looking so embarrassed, it's not like the picture looks bad or anything."
"Besides, you're like Monet compared to me."
no subject
He's smiling now, though he still seems a bit sheepish.
> "Don't thank me for telling the truth."
> "Yeah, whatever."
> "Do you do other artsy stuff too?"
no subject
[ But isn't that a little cheesy--? ]
"I wouldn't just about something like this!"
[ That's worse!! ]
no subject
He's smiling more confidently now though, and he motions for you to take a seat nearby.
I could paint something for you, if you want.
He seems really eager to do so, and he's already pulling out another sheet of watercolor paper...
> "How about a sunset?"
> "Think you could paint a cat?"
> "Hey, maybe you could paint a picture of me?"
no subject
>> "Hey, maybe you could paint a picture of me?"
"Let's see how well you can handle this challenge."
no subject
It takes a while, but eventually he's putting finishing touches on the painting.
There. We have to let it dry first, though.
Kirino seems rather proud of the painting, and it doesn't look too bad, either! You wonder if he's just a one-trick pony when it comes to art, or if he does more than just watercolors.
> "Do you do other art stuff too?"
> "Got anything else that I can look at?"
no subject
>> "Got anything else that I can look at?"
"Surely you can do other stuff, to."
no subject
Wait here!
Before you can say yes or no to that, he rushes off, and when he's coming back, he's pulling over a black portfolio.
I've got a bunch of other stuff in here that you can look through, if you want.
no subject
Perhaps a compliment is due? ]
"I had no idea you did all this stuff." [ ...Close enough. ]
no subject
Kirino? Frustrated? It seems unlikely. Either way, it doesn't seem like he's going to say much more on the matter.
> "You? Frustrated?"
> "Either way, it all looks pretty good."
no subject
>> "Either way, it all looks pretty good."
"I guess there are worse ways to channel it."
no subject
You still can't help but wonder. Kirino seems so calm all the time, after all!
> "What would you have to be frustrated about, anyway?"
> Leave the subject alone.
no subject
"You always seem so calm at school."
[ ...He has a feeling he's about to trip a bomb of some sort. ]
no subject
I'd rather not talk about it, if that's okay. Not here, at least.
Oh great, he's sad now.
> 'Maybe I should change the subject.'
> 'Maybe I should try to cheer him up.'
> 'Should I risk pressing it further?'
no subject
"W- Well, there's no one here but us. And it looks like you could really do with someone to talk to."
[ And he kind of wants to be that person. ]
no subject
He tells you about his family situation: how his dad walked out on the family, and how his mother has to work several jobs to support herself and Kirino, and how he almost never sees her anymore.
He talks about how his mother has made promises that they would spend time together on holidays or when she has days off, but the promises always end up broken.
He talks about how he gets jealous, seeing other kids having fun with their families, when he essentially lives by himself.
Neither of you are sure when, but at some point, he starts crying. By the end of it, he's trying to wipe those tears away, embarrassed.
S-sorry... I got going and I just couldn't stop myself...
no subject
"It's okay. At least it's not bottled up inside anymore, right?" [ He offers a smile. ]
"Besides, you can always call me if you want someone for company. I'd love an excuse to get out of the orphanage." [ He might not know Kirino's kind of family problem, but he understands Family Problems. It's not a pretty thing. ]
no subject
> Rub his back soothingly.
> Keep quiet.
> "... Sorry."
no subject
[ He's a little too scared to screw up to do anything else but be there. ]
no subject
... Thanks, Kariya.
He seems a bit happier now. He thinks for a moment or so before pressing a grateful kiss to your cheek.
no subject
[ He wasn't expecting the kiss, so a blush follows it but Kariya smiles through it.
There's a pause before he returns one to Kirino's forehead. ]
