THE DATING SIM MEME

Congratulations, you're stuck in a dating sim. Hilarious text options pop up out of thin air after every question
and trigger phrase, and you can't feel creeped out by it. You better choose the right answers or...well you know what will happen.

[The computer lab at the school is usually empty, since everyone has their own laptops anyway. Today, however? There's one person in there, and they're looking just a little unusual. They aren't in the school's uniform, and they have a small laptop hooked up to one of the library computers, using both at once. Their fingers fly expertly over the keys.

[Blue was just stopping by at the library to return a few books. He does take note of the hooded person near the library computers. Curiosity ensnares Blue as he approaches.

►"Who are you?"]

Hey, you new around here?

[He looks up suddenly, wary of being caught. He isn't actually supposed to be here, after all.]

...Who wants to know?

[Red eyes aren't very common, and his fix you with an angry and slightly suspicious stare. He's a living legend, long causing trouble for the authorities and long thought to have been caught and killed. The execution had even been broadcast on TV. Those red eyes may not recognize you as his old friend at the moment, but then again, it's been a very long time.

[Blue stops as he catches the gaze. Funny, were those red eyes? It reminded him of his friend's-

Nah. Couldn't be. Blue gives a shrug.

The name's Blue. I noticed you're not wearing a uniform, and only new students tend to lack them. So? Are you?

...Blue...? [The name catches him off guard. It's been so long - he wouldn't really find him here of all places, would he? No... The odds were too slim. Still, he has to ignore your question in favor of another one. His stare has turned analytical.]

...That's an unusual name, just a color like that. Is it a nickname?

[> "Yeah. Quit ignoring the question."
> Deny and look away uncomfortably.
> "Nah. It's just a weird name."
> "It could be worse."]

[Oh look, a trainer has come into view. They seem to be looking around, frowning with just the hint of anger in their eyes before it's glazed over immediately. Turning towards you, they stop, staring at Blue with a small frown for a moment. Then, like the look in his eyes, his frown is quick to be replaced, giving a small grin.]

Hey! Have you seen a guy that looks like me, but just a bit different? It's very important that I find him!

[>"...no I haven't."]

[>"I'm busy. Leave me be."]

[>Ignore.]

[Blue stops before taking a look over this trainer. He recognizes him, being a Gym Leader and all. At his question his face hardens as he looks over the boy as if looking a something lower than trash.

►"I'm busy. Leave me be."]

If you're not here to challenge me for a badge don't bother, kid.

[The response from Blue has him huffing. He tenses up, examining Blue for a solid moment. And, suddenly, it's dawning onto him--]

You--! I know you've seen him! Where is he? Tell me or...

[His anger fades for a moment, the boy seeming to realize his own words. He then gives a smile, stepping forward once.]

Or you'll regret it. ♥

[>"I haven't seen him."]
[>"Go away."]
[>Frown at the sudden change.]

[Ugh, clones are such a pest. Crossing his arms Blue responds.

►"I haven't seen him."]

Look, sorry you're looking for your twin or whatever but I'm busy. I've got no time to play around, pal.

[The response has him stepping forward, but as he carefully inspects Blue, he turns away suddenly, raising up his hands behind his head.]

Fine. But if you see him and I see you again, tell me. He's very, very important.

[>"...whatever."]
[>"I will."]
[>'Ugh. Good riddance.']

[Blue glared the moment he stepped in close.

►"...whatever."

He gives a shrug and a halfhearted waved as he attempts to turn and leave. He had better things to be doing than talk to some clone.]

Be sure to tell me! I'll get angry if you don't! ♥

[He then turns to completely leave, again inspecting the different areas to try and find his original.]

[>"I will."]
[>"...hold on, kid."]
[>Walk away.]

[He gives this strange kid a look. What was his deal? Blue was about to head on back to his gym but stops.

►"...hold on kid."]

How many badges you've got so far? You're challenging the league aren't you?

[He freezes, turning back to face Blue. With a curious look, he ponders about his badges before nodding.]

Only a few. I'm here to challenge the gym leaders in this area, and the league after.

[>"Challenge me."]
[>"...good luck."]
[>"How many badges do you have?"]

[The final school bell rings for today. It's finally the weekend, and apparently everyone is excited to fulfill their plans for the entire weekend. Just up ahead, Red is waving at you near the gate.

> Greet him back.
> Ignore him and move on.
> Stand and stare at him.]

Upon spotting Red, Blue will give a wave of his own. Smiling he'll approach closer.]

Hey there Red. Are you on your way home?
