and trigger phrase, and you can't feel creeped out by it. You better choose the right answers or...well you know what will happen.

[Harpuia had a feeling that if that time ever comes, X will still need reminding -- leadership does mean sacrifice, yes, but not reckless self-sacrifice. Nonetheless... it may be exasperating at times, but it's one of the traits he admires all the same.

He pulls X's helmet off his head, setting it aside. After a moment's thought, he removes his, too -- the crystal on the front is bound to start blinking out that low-energy warning soon, and he'd rather not have that ruin the moment. One hand busies itself with exploring X's hair, the touch equal parts nervous and eager, but that lingering sense of decorum demanding he restrain himself, keep his pace slow and gentle.]

Then I hope you don't forget. Master X... you inspire me to be better than what I am. If I should push myself too hard, or if I should get hurt in the line of duty...

[He allows their lips to meet again, briefly. It's a chaste, surprisingly shy gesture -- still restrained, still getting used to the idea that this isn't a near-treasonous breach of rank, but not lacking in emotion.]

That didn't surprise him in the least, regardless of how he knew it was going to drive him sick with worry. W-well, the expression, anyway, not so much the words and the situation behind it (really, this entire situation was a bit surreal, and not at all what X had expected. It was a good unexpected, though; the gentle, shy hand touching Harpuia's hair and the smile on his face was proof of that).

But his words touched him. That much could be seen just in his eyes.

Though even if that was the case, as long as X kept things smooth through his running Neo Arcadia, and ironed out all bumps in the road...

Then no reasons for any of his Guardians -- Harpuia especially -- to get into danger would ever pop up.

But X inspired Harpuia? Really? Did the other Reploid not know how much he had inspired X through the time he'd been here?

[X touched his forehead to his, closing his eyes. Harpuia's fingers in his hair felt so good...it was almost as though his scalp was being massaged; it was hard to keep himself from being lulled into sleep mode.]
