№ 3 ~the Dating Sim meme~

"I must return to my people with the spoils of war, lay my bloodied sword at the feet of my great king,
and celebrate my conquest of all the lands from here to distant Macedonia!"
Congratulations, you're stuck in a dating sim. Hilarious text options pop up out of thin air after every question
and trigger phrase, and you can't feel creeped out by it. You better choose the right answers or...well you know what will happen.
♥Your character is the protagonist of their thread.♥
♥Each responding character will supply a list of two to four options for them to choose from.♥
♥???♥
♥Jam it in? ...or not. It's entirely up to you.♥

He seems to be asleep on the desk with a calculus book open next to him. Maybe he was tired enough to think it a pillow?
> Poke him with something sharp
> Take a picture for blackmail
> Both
no subject
You pick up a nearby pencil and consider prodding his arm. That'd be rude though, and it'd probably hurt, given how sharp this pencil is! You turn around the pencil and prod Kariya with the eraser.]
Kariya, wake up.
no subject
He snaps his head up with a start and looks confused for a few seconds.
And then, he glares at you. It's like being poked back with the sharp pencil, but with his eyes. Except he actually pokes you back with a pencil that was conveniently in his hand when he fell asleep as well.
"What was that for?"
> "I thought it would be funny"
> "You shouldn't sleep in libraries"
> "..."
no subject
> "You shouldn't sleep in libraries."]
That desk hardly looks comfortable, anyway. [You glance over his shoulder at the open book next to him.]
... Calculus exam coming up?
no subject
"Yeah, after lunch. I was up most of last night trying to figure it out, too, but I don't get any of this at all."
> "Tough look, buddy."
> "Need some help?"
> "..."
no subject
[ > "Need some help?"]
I'm no expert, but I'd be happy to help out.
no subject
Kariya's eyes light up at your offer and he nods eagerly, pulling a seat aside for you to sit down. The stuff isn't hard since you covered it last year and this way you get to revise for your own lesson later!
+5 wisdom!
"Thanks, Kirino-senpai!" He looks really happy that you helped. Bonding over calculus, who knew?

You're welcome. If you need help studying for anything else, feel free to ask, okay?

Yes! It's finally the weekend! You don't have any plans today, but it's too good a day outside to just bum around at home.
Maybe you should give a call Kariya a call to ask how his test went yesterday, and maybe invite him out as well.
> Give him a call
> No, let me bum around at home.
no subject
You don't know if mom will need help in her shop, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
Though, calling Kariya would be the nice thing to do...
... Nah. If he wants to talk or hang out, he can do the calling.]

When you look out the window to check who it is, you see a familiar green-haried boy standing outside with a card of some sort. He looks a little nervous and as if he's ready to bolt.
Making him wait a little before you answer will probably be hilarious, but he might also run away.
You should...
> Answer the door right away!
> Wait a little to see what happens.
> Ignore it.
no subject
Even if it would be funny, it'd be rude to make him wait.]
Hey, Kariya.

There's somebody in the music room again. It sounds like they're practicing really hard despite it being well after school has finished. It sounds a little out-of-time and there's an odd wrong note every now and again, though.
Perhaps if you had spent less time in the changing rooms after practice, you would have heard them before they got so sloppy.
Or perhaps not.
> Barge in and see who's at the piano.
> Stay and listen a little more.
> Walk past it. I want to get home!
no subject
You consider taking a look inside, but maybe you should knock first? Maybe you should--
> Stay and listen a little more.
After all, it's not like you're in any hurry to get home.]
no subject
In fact, after a few minutes there's a dissonant chord that's far too loud compared to what was being played before.
You should...
> Check inside to see what happened.
> Show's over! Walk away.
> M- Maybe it's best to wait a little more?
no subject
You wince a little. That... didn't sound good. Maybe you're just nosy, but you'd like to see if the person who was playing was all right. Or something.]
no subject
Upon closer inspection, there is indeed someone sat, or rather, sprawled over the piano. The musical score for whatever was being played are over the floor but whoever is at the piano doesn't seem to care.
They have their arms over their head so it's a little hard to tell who it is, but it looks like their shoulders are shaking.
> "Are you okay?"
> "Are you crying?"
> "Wow that was some really bad playing just now!"
no subject
You walk over to the piano, picking up the score with one hand, and laying the other on this person's shoulder.]
no subject
She looks embarrassed to have been caught and quickly rubs at her eyes with her sleeves.
> "What was that horrible sound just now?"
> "Should you still be here?"
> "Whoops, sorry, wrong person..."
no subject
You hold out the score you picked up and try to smile encouragingly at her.]
no subject
She looks at the sheets and takes them meekly with both hands. This Shindou is pretty different from the one that was just on the pitch with you and it's a little odd to see. She seems intent on staring at the keyboard rather than you.
> "Dude, it's almost 6PM."
> "It's getting late."
> "Practice away, then, my friend!"
no subject
... Way to state the obvious, you idiot.]
Won't your parents be worried? It's almost six.
[You find it slightly unsettling to see her like this. It's not what you're used to at all.]
no subject
When she does talk, it's kind of quiet and you have to strain your ears to hear it.
"I- I told them I was with you..."
> "Haha, funny! But really, what?"
> "You can't just throw my name around like that!"
> "..."
no subject
Well, that... certainly wasn't what you expected. You're flattered, but... whoa.]
I... see... And your parents were okay with that?
